* After Hours and Weekend Appointments incur a 50% surcharge.
* Visa and Mastercard transactions on invoices incur a 1.27% surcharge.
* Cancellation Policy applies as per Statement of Provision of Services.                                                      

* Payment is required within 2 days of your scheduled appointment. After 7 days of non-payment a 10% administration fee will be added to the invoice. You will be re-issued the invoice with the additional fee.

We appreciate prompt payment for the service you have received. If you have any concerns regarding payment, we ask that you contact us and discuss the situation.


Medicare and Private Health Rebates

Our staff are registered with both Medicare and Private Health Insurance companies to enable clients to receive applicable rebates.

Medicare Rebates are provided when the individual is referred to TFD Services by their General Medical Practitioner along with a completed Mental Health Care Plan as part of the Federal Government’s Better Access to Mental Health Services Initiative. Plans are valid for a period of 12 months from the date of referral. Individuals referred by the doctor are eligible for up to 10 rebated appointments per calendar year. The minimum rebate is $92.90 (as at 1st July 2023), with higher rebates obtainable when the individual or family have passed the Medicare Safety Net in any calendar year.

Processing Rebates: Clients pay the full session fee to TFD Services on day of appointment. Once received, TFD Services will provide you the receipt for claiming with either Medicare or your Private Health Insurer.
– With Medicare Rebates, the receipt can either be lodged online, via their app, or at any Medicare office in Australia. The refund is processed directly into your nominated account.
– With Private Health Insurance, the receipt can be lodged online, via your providers app, or at any branch for your provider. The refund is processed into your nominated account.


All individuals whom have a valid Mental Health Care Plan are eligible to receive service via Telehealth.
